About Joe O'Shaughnessy

​Joe is a mostly self-taught artist with additional training through adult education courses. He paints events and scenes that catch his attention and imagination. An avid traveler, Joe has frequented various countries in Europe and South America and many of his pieces are a product of those visits.  In his sports scenes he tries to capture the actions as well as the emotions of the athlete.

Previous works have been shown at Visual Art Exchange, Sertoma Arts Center, Local Color Gallery, Litmus Gallery and Cameron Village Library.

Joe has also contributed artwork to charitable events such as “Works of Heart” among others.
